ESO’s Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) has delivered amazing imagery of nearby stellar nurseries. The views were created by "piecing together more than one million images," according to the European Souther Observatory.

Star forming regions Orion, Ophiuchus, Chamaeleon, Corona Australis and Lupus constellations are featured.
