Ijaazat is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Gulzar, based on a Bengali story, Jatugriha by Subodh Ghosh. The film stars Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Anuradha Patel in leading roles.
Story
The film follows the story of a couple who are separated and accidentally meet in a railway station waiting room, discovering some truths about their lives without each other.

The film features four songs, all female solos rendered by Asha Bhosle, who won a National Award for her efforts. The songs are:
