38th People Power Anniversary remembered

The Buhay ang Edsa Campaign network holds a rally in front of the Edsa Shrine in Ortigas on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024 following a mass to commemorate the 38th anniversary of the 'people power revolution' that ended the 20-year rule of then president Ferdinand Marcos Sr., father and namesake of the incumbent leader, Ferdinand Jr. Former senator Leila De Lima, Sen. Risa Hontiveros, lawyer Chel Diokno, former senator Benigno 'Bam' Aquino IV, former congressman Edcel Lagman, former Commission on Higher Education chairman Patricia Licuanan, former presidential adviser on the peace process Teresita 'Ging' Deles were present for the event dubbed 'National Day for Prayer and Action.'
