It takes everything you love about the FTR R Carbon, adds racing-inspired flourishes from Roland Sands and tasty aftermarket parts.
When two stellar companies come together to make something limited edition, it's inherently great.
Recently, Indian Motorcycles approached Roland Sands to collaborate on the limited edition FTR x RSD Super Hooligan. Considering the straight-up pursuit, run-what-you-bring roots from which the FTR Super Hooligan was born, it's clear that the classic-style equipment Roland Sands brings to the table is a perfect match.
If you want to get your hands on the limited edition FTR X RSD Super Hooligan, you better be quick because they're only making 300 units.
The FTR x RSD Super Hooligan features a Black Metallic body with authentic Super Hooligan racing graphics that contrast beautifully with the classic Indian Motorcycle Red frame and matching wheels with gold accents.
Even from afar there's no mistaking this for a regular FTR R Carbon, thanks to Indian Motorcycle Racing's championship number 1 logo on the front and side plates. As you get closer, you'll see the logos of all the race team sponsors on the seat cowling, designed to add an extra layer of authenticity.
Anyone lucky enough to own the FTR x RSD Super Hooligan can decide how far they want to take the race-inspired look. It comes with additional graphics for the radiator shroud, front fender and front forks, which the owner can apply at their discretion.
As stated, only 300 FTR x RSD Super Hooligan motorcycles will be available worldwide, and each model will be individually numbered with a commemorative tank console.
The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that the FTR x RSD Super Hooligan is based on the FTR R Carbon platform but has a few key differences other than aesthetics. The limited edition model comes with an Akrapovič muffler and heat shield. It also features an oil cap, radiator cap, bar end weights and adjustable rear settings made by Gilles Tooling.
The new parts add to the bike's premium finish and reduce its overall weight, as the FTR x RSD weighs 27 pounds less than the standard FTR R Carbon. So if a $17,249 FTR R Carbon is on your shopping list this year, it might be worth upping your budget to the FTR x RSD Super Hooligan's $18,499 starting price.
