Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will immediately terminate the contract of nominees or tenants of the People's Housing Project (PPR) if they are caught renting out their homes to foreigners.
Its chief executive of Socioeconomic Development, Ismadi Sakirin, told reporters on Thursday (Feb 22) that DBKL views the matter seriously and would not tolerate any registered tenant who profiteered in such a way as it was a breach of the agreement.
