MotoGP machines represent the pinnacle of technology when it comes to performance in the two-wheel world. So it's no surprise that when a new model is released and ready to hit the racetracks, it's a big deal. A lot of work continues during the winter months as racing teams prepare for the upcoming season. Drawing on all the data collected in the previous season, the machines were tuned, upgraded and developed within MotoGP's strict guidelines and then extensively tested for the upcoming season.

The 2024 racing motorcycle, called RS-GP24, was introduced in all its glory. Aprilia has been making progress in MotoGP in recent years and is now hoping 2024 will be its best season yet. The RS-GP24 represents the pinnacle of the Italian company's technological capabilities, while also demonstrating the brand's passion for innovation.

Aprilia Racing Division, led by Romano Albesiano, has made quite a few technical revisions to the RS-GP, and in the company's official press release, Albesiano explained that the bike is already a strong platform and the team is working to deliver a better performance in this regard.

Improved aerodynamics is the name of the game for 2024, and it's easy to see just from the bike's bodywork. For 2024, the RS-GP24 features large winglets at the front, as well as a fully enclosed bodywork that doesn't allow the engine to protrude even a little. The exhaust system now emerges from the tail of the motorcycle and there is more fairing hiding the exhaust pipes. By the way, there is a small spoiler sticking up on the tail. On the side of the bike, large covers can be seen on either side of the rear wheel; At the front, large ducts suck air and cool the brakes.

Miguel Oliveira, who joined the team in 2024, is switching to Aprilia through the Trackhouse racing team. There will also be a new RS-GP24. Raúl Fernández, who is also part of the Trackhouse team, will also race in the Aprilia RS-GP.
