There is a hostage situation at the pub and Ben is shot! He lies in Callum's arms on the brink of death. Callum gets Ben to keep talking, asking to hear the story Ben made up for his daughter Lexi. Sonia saves Ben by using a pen to puncture his airway so he can breathe. Luckily the whole ordeal ends with the police shooting down the hostage-taker and Ben is rushed to the hospital.
