Tesla CEO Elon Musk disputed a Washington Post report that claimed a 2022 fatal crash involving a Tesla employee may have been the first involving the Full Self-Driving software. Musk stated the employee, Hans von Ohain, "was not on FSD" and that the "software had unfortunately never been downloaded." Ohain and a passenger were involved in a crash in May 2022 when the Tesla Model 3 they were in crashed into a tree and burst into flames.
