France: Protests for fair pay, reduced bureaucracy, and protection against imports have swept across the nation. Tractors blocked roads, causing disruptions and agricultural waste was dumped at government offices. While some barricades are easing, the A7 highway in southern France remains closed. Tragically, a young farmer and her daughter lost their lives in a protest-related car crash near Toulouse.

Agriculture Minister Marc Fesneau calls it a "tragedy for all of us."
