भारतीय वायुसेना (Indian Airforce) के एक ट्रांसपोर्ट एयरक्राफ्ट AN-32 का मलबा लगभग साढ़े सात साल बाद बंगाल की खाड़ी में करीब 3.4 किलोमीटर की गहराई पर मिला है। लापता हुए इस विमान में 29 कर्मी सवार थे। रक्षा मंत्रालय (Ministry of Defence) ने कहा कि हाल ही में राष्ट्रीय समुद्र प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान के ऑटोनॉमस अंडरवाटर व्हीकल (AUV) द्वारा ली गई तस्वीरों की जांच से पता चला है कि चेन्नई तट से 310 किमी दूर समुद्र में मिला मलबा AN-32 विमान का है
