"One of those large personalities from Princes Town" and "a very well-known gentleman in the political arena" are how two members of the public are remembering former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday as they viewed his body which lay at the Southern Academy for the Performing Arts on Monday.

On Tuesday, Mr Panday's family and the nation will bid their final farewell to the former Prime Minister during the State funeral which begins at the SAPA.
