A mum accidentally ordered Christmas cards with the wrong family name on and sent them out anyway - leaving loved ones baffled.
Christy Beck, 47, warned people to make sure they double check their family Christmas cards after her hilarious blunder.
The mum-of-three managed to pose up her husband and triplets for a cute family photo.
Christy uploaded the picture to a site online so they could order personalised family 2022 Christmas cards.
But the tired mum missed a small section of text at the bottom of the card - and didn't replace the sample text with their surname.
To Christy's horror, when the cards arrived, the Beck family were labelled 'The Thompsons'.
Fortunately she and husband, Ryan Beck, 44, saw the funny side and sent the cards out anyway - to the amusement of the recipients.
Christy, a parenting blogger, from Mackinac Island, Michigan, US, said: "The triplets were four at the time, so we had to try really hard to get pictures.
"After the stress of that I was ordering the cards last-minute and missed the small writing at the bottom.
"When they showed up in the mail, I couldn't believe it.
"We figured we already paid so we sent them out anyway.
"For days after I was getting phone calls and texts like 'who are the Thompsons?'."
Describing that as her 'biggest Christmas blunder', this year Christy was much more careful ordering their cards.
She added: "This year I did think about putting the Thompsons again to be funny and keep it going.
"But luckily there were no typos this year.
"When I shared the story online lots of people were commenting saying they had done a similar thing - apparently it's not that easy.
"The writing was quite small - I reckon some people might not even have noticed it anyway."
