After three years in a Hong Kong prison the trial of local media mogul Jimmy Lai is due to begin. Mr Lai’s newspaper steadfastly supported Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement before it was shut down a year after his arrest. His son Sebastien Lai spoke to East Asia correspondent Kathleen Calderwood in Taipei, where he now lives.
