King Sneferu is the father of the famous Pharaoh Khufu, owner of the Great Pyramid of Giza - the only remaining wonder of the ancient world.
He ruled Egypt for a long period, estimated by some to be between 30 to 40 years.
He is the only king who built 4 pyramids. The first is in Fayoum, known as (Sella), the second is in Meidum in Beni Suef, and the third and fourth are in the Dahshur area: the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid.
