Strong diplomacy and adhering to the ruling of the International Court of Justice are Guyana's mantra, according to Vice President of Guyana Bharat Jagdeo when he spoke to citizens in the Region One capital of Anna Regina on Sunday evening.

Jagdeo sought to make Guyana's position crystal clear in the ongoing border controversy with Venezuela who is claiming that the Essequibo region belongs to them.
