The Home Ministry needs to be seen to be "aware and sensitive" to public complaints regarding the publication of books that allegedly contain elements that violate the law, said its minister.
Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said this on Sunday (Nov 26) when asked to comment on the latest incident involving the ministry's officials and independent bookstore Gerak Budaya, adding that the confiscated books will be returned if they are found not to contain any elements that violate the law.
