US President Joe Biden arrived in San Francisco on Tuesday (Nov 14) to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit, and a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Biden has said his goal during talks with Xi is to resume normal communications between the two superpowers, including military-to-military contacts.
