Tonnes of expired, unused hand sanitisers to be wasted after pandemic

In NSW, waste companies will dispose of 7,150 tonnes of sanitisers that were left unused during the pandemic. Likewise, the Western Australian government paid a contractor $187,000 to dispose of its 134,000 bottles of expired hand sanitisers.
