भाई दूज का त्‍योहार कार्तिक शुक्‍ल द्वितीया को मनाया जाता है और इस दिन बहनें भाइयों को अपने घर बुलाकर उनका टीका करती हैं, आरती उतारती हैं और उन्‍हें अपने हाथ से भोजन करवाती हैं। ऐसी मान्‍यता है कि कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीया के दिन यमुना ने अपने घर में पूजन करके भाई यम यानी यमराज का स्‍वागत करके उन्‍हें अपने हाथ से भोजन बनाकर खिलाया था। तब से कार्तिक शुक्‍ल द्वितीया को भाई दूज का त्‍योहार मनाया जाता है। इस साल भाई दूज के त्‍योहार को लेकर उलझन की स्थिति है। पंचांग के अनुसार, भाई दूज 15 नवंबर को मनाई जाएगी। आज हम आपको बता रहे हैं कि भाई दूज के दिन भाई-बहन को क्‍या करना चाहिए और क्‍या नहीं करना चाहिए।
