वन क्षेत्र को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए टोंक के वन विभाग की ओर से कई प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। लेकिन सोहेला वन नाका क्षेत्र में वन भूमि का रकबा घट रहा है। इसका कारण है कि यहां चलने वाले सुरक्षा दीवार निर्माण से पहले खोदी गई नींव में काफी जगह छोड़ दी गई है।
