There was a wide range of skirts developed in the 20th Century as it was the era of experimentation and innovation in many aspects of society. From hobble skirts to hemlines, A-line skirts, straight-cut skirts and mini skirts were the designer skirts for ladies in this era. Since the 1970s and till now skirts have been available in many varieties and lengths.
