David Carr, a married father-of-two, has launched a fundraiser with a target of £10,000 for an off-road wheelchair after being diagnosed with a rare kidney disease and a form of Motor Neurons Disease (ALS).

As part of his fundraising efforts, David has created a model Hogwarts Express train.

David, an avid outdoorsman who hopes to continue his active lifestyle with the aid of an off-road wheelchair, said he has developed an interest in model train-making and hopes to use the creation as a way to generate funds.
