The Prime Minister says he does "not think" that the society "will come to the point where there will be any riot in Trinidad and Tobago over electricity rates."
The Prime Minister was responding to questions during his media conference on Thursday about a warning from an Opposition Senator that there could be social unrest if the Government approves an increase in electricity rates recommended by the RIC .
The Prime Minister said the Cabinet will weigh all considerations before making its final decision.
