Rafah buildings razed as Israel escalates bombings

Palestinians in Rafah, Gaza Strip, are searching for survivors in the rubble of buildings destroyed by an Israeli strike. A Gazan describes the terrifying moment: ‘We were sleeping peacefully when, around 1 am, a loud explosion shook us. Doors and windows shattered, and black dust and smoke engulfed everything.’
