The group, The Concerned Muslims of Trinidad and Tobago is calling on the government and CARICOM as a whole, to stand up and speak up for the Palestinians in the war with Israel. The local Muslim body says the fact is, the world sees the conflict as a Muslim versus Jew war and as such, the group believes that the time is ripe for the Caribbean to take a stand in support of Muslims.
