Flood water burst into the beer garden of the Kirkstall Bridge Inn, in Leeds, as the venue faced a battering of rain brought by Storm Babet.

The venue, in Bridge Road, sits directly next to the River Aire, which is shown flowing particularly quickly in footage.

A staff member said they were testing "new flood defences" and hoped the pub itself, which remained open, would stay "warm and dry".
