Pendang MP Datuk Awang Hashim was told to leave the Dewan Rakyat until after the lunch break on Thursday (Oct 12) when he refused to retract a remark about Sungai Petani MP Dr Taufiq Johari.

Awang was then heard saying "anak papa" (father's son) in reference to Taufiq, the son of Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul.
