బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వంలో పత్రికా స్వేచ్చకు విఘాతం కలుగుతోందని, నిజాలు నిర్భయంగా ప్రచురిస్తున్న మీడియా పాత్రికేయులపై అక్రమ కేసులు బనాయించడం అప్రజాస్వామికమని ఐజేయూ నేతలు మండిపడ్డారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా సుమారు 50మంది పాత్రికేయులపై అభియోగాలు మోపడం, అదుపులోకి తీసుకోవడం సరైన చర్యలు కావన్నారు ఐజేయూ నేతలు.
The IJU (Indian Journalist Union) leaders said that the freedom of the press is being disrupted under the BJP government and it is undemocratic to file illegal cases against media journalists who fearlessly publish the truth. The leaders of IJU said that charging and detaining about 50 journalists across the country is not the right action.
