Jonathan Reynolds has spoken out after it was announced that the UK's biggest untapped oil field, Rosebank, has been approved for development by regulators.
The shadow business secretary said that the investment would “not bring down anyone’s bills,” and would “not provide greater energy security.” Mr Reynolds insisted that “we will only get the energy security we need and lower bills through making sure we are not exposed to volatile fossil fuel prices.” Report by Covellm.
