This is the tear-jerking moment a man finally got his rescue dog to wag its tail and bark for joy - SIX YEARS after he saved him from a fight pit.

Chris, an IT professional, took itear. jen tattered and traumatised Scooby after he was recovered during a police raid on an illegal dog fighting ring.

Mixed breed Scooby spent over a year in a local shelter until the court case was settled.

Even then Scooby was at-risk of being put down, as no one wanted to adopt a dog with a fighting past.

The dog - aged between seven and nine-years-old - was completely traumatised from its treatment by the dog fighters.
