Ganesh Chaturthi festival, which is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed god of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. Here are some steps and ideas for decorating and performing the pooja (worship) during this festival.
Ganpati Sthapana: On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, place the Ganpati idol on a clean platform or altar. Perform a small ritual known as "Ganpati Sthapana" to invoke the deity's presence.
Offerings: Offer various items to Lord Ganesha, such as sweets (modak is a favorite), fruits, coconut, betel leaves, and flowers. You can also offer incense sticks and camphor for aarti (ritualistic fire offering).
