UNESCO adds Tunisia’s Djerba to World Heritage list

UNESCO includes Djerba, Tunisia's largest island at 514 square kilometers, to its World Heritage Sites. Djerba is famous for its religious diversity, with churches, synagogues, and fortified mosques from the Ibadi school of Islam, including some underground ones.
