ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀਆ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਏ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਭਾਰਤ 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜਾਂਚ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੇ ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ 'ਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
