The President of the Industrial Court says climate change and health-related disasters, including pandemics, all affect the health and safety of employees and workers and also productivity levels.

Madame Justice Deborah Thomas-Felix raised a particular concern about the health risk that heat stress can pose to people working outdoors and in office spaces with poor ventilation during the present heat wave this country is experiencing.


She suggests that one solution can be found via remote working.
