Hackers who breached casino giants MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment in recent weeks also broke into the systems of three other major companies in manufacturing, retail, and technology industries, according to David Bradbury, chief security officer of identity management firm Okta. Okta has identified five clients, including MGM and Caesars, targeted by hacking groups ALPHV and Scattered Spider since August. Bradbury said the hackers exploited access to MGM's Okta client to gain further credentials on Okta's system. MGM and Caesars stock prices dropped following the breaches.
