Canada expelled a top Indian diplomat as it investigates what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called credible allegations that the Indian government may have had links to the assassination of a Sikh activist in Canada. India has rejected the accusation calling it ‘absurd’. Trudeau said in Parliament that Canadian intelligence agencies have been looking into the allegations. This comes after Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a strong supporter of Khalistan, was gunned down on June 18 outside a Sikh cultural centre in Surrey, British Columbia. Watch the video to know more.
