Derna residents describe flood devastation

One week after a huge flash flood hit Derna, Libya, efforts to find survivors and recover bodies are ongoing. The flood resulted from the bursting of two upstream river dams, raising questions about whether this disaster could have been avoided, given that dam cracks have been reported since 1998.
