Views 4K

The government is planning tighter tobacco control laws aiming to place new restrictions on packaging and additives. It wants to reduce the national smoking rate to less than 10 per cent by 2025 and 5 per cent by 2030. Vaping will also be targeted with new advertising rules to be included. The changes will come into laws from April next year with retailers to be given a year to comply with regulations.
