Before reassigning the rights, Diddy
reportedly received many multi-million
dollar offers for the Bad Boy publishing catalog.
But he decided to return the rights
to the songwriters instead. .
Most of the artists have been located and
signed the paperwork to complete the transfer. .
Ma$e and Diddy previously had a disagreement about which party was owed money within their professional relationship.
In 2020, Ma$e said Diddy turned down his
$2 million offer to purchase publishing rights.
It appears Diddy has had a change of heart.
