British nurse responsible for deaths of 7 newborns receives life imprisonment

A British nurse named Lucy Letby has been sentenced to life in prison for ending the life of seven newborn babies and harming six others while she was taking care of them. She was found guilty of murdering five baby boys and two baby girls. This makes her the most prolific child serial killer in modern UK history. Lucy Letby was arrested after a series of baby deaths at the neonatal unit of Countess of Chester Hospital in northwest England from June 2015 to June 2016.
