Western Air Command choppers rescued over 780 people from the flood-affected areas of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. They carried out 50 sorties over the last 48 hours, Indian Air Force officials informed on August 16. On August 16, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conducted an aerial survey of the flood-hit regions of Indora and Fatehpur in the Kangra district. Nearly 71 people lost their lives in three days. The estimated loss is about Rs 7,500 crore. Watch the video to know more.
