Sungai Kandis incumbent Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni (PH-PKR) failed to defend his seat in the state polls in Selangor.

Prior to the official announcement, Pakatan supporters came to the hall protesting about an alleged discrepancy in the number of unreturned votes.
