A report on the prosecution of former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann over the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins has made scathing criticism of the ACT's top prosecutor. Mr Lehrmann's trial was abandoned and there are no findings against him. In a report seen by the ABC, the board of inquiry led by former Queensland judge Walter Sofronoff made damning findings against the director of public prosecutions Shane Drumgold, who accused police of pressuring him not to pursue the charge, and suggested there was political interference in the investigation.
