Executive Director of the Financial Conduct Authority, Sheldon Mills, says the organisation will “look very closely” at the investigation into the closure of former politician Nigel Farage’s bank account. He says that it is “not appropriate” to terminate a person’s current account “on the basis of their legally held political views.”
