Shravan Krishna Paksha 2023 : हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार श्रावण अधिक मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अमावस्या तिथि के दिन तमिल संस्कृति में आदि अमावस्या पर्व मनाया जाता है। इस विशेष दिन पर स्नान-दान और तर्पण इत्यादि का विशेष महत्व है। मान्यता है कि इस दिन श्राद्ध कर्म अथवा तर्पण करने से पूर्वजों की आत्मा को शांति प्राप्त होती है और पितृ दोष समाप्त हो जाता है।

Shravan Krishna Paksha 2023: According to the Hindu calendar, the Adi Amavasya festival is celebrated in Tamil culture on the new moon day of the Krishna Paksha of the month of Shravan. On this special day, there is special importance of bathing, donating and offering etc. It is believed that by performing Shraddha Karma or Tarpan on this day, the souls of the ancestors get peace and Pitra Dosh ends.
