Borobudur is the World’s Biggest (Mahayana) Buddhist Temple - located in Magelang – Central Java, Indonesia.
Borobudur is built as a single large stupa and when viewed from above, takes the form of a giant Buddhist mandala.
The mandala represents Buddhist cosmology and the three realms of cyclic existence – Samsara.
Borobudur temple is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
