Corfu was hit by a wildfire on Sunday, July 23, prompting evacuation orders for Santa, Megoula, Porta, Palia, Perithia, and Sinies.Sea evacuations involving six coast guard vessels and nine private vessels were carried out to transport people fleeing the wildfires.
