You must have gone through your social media and news feed filled up with news about Seema Haider, a Pakistani national, who illegally entered India along with her four children to unite with her lover, Sachin Meena in India.

Now, with us, let's get to know this entire story of Seema Haider’s and her illegal journey to India.

Seema Haider, a Pakistani citizen from the Sindh province of Pakistan took flight from Karachi Sarajah, and stayed in Dubai with a tourist visa. And then took her final flight from Dubai to Kathmandu.

Then Seema choosed the public transport in Nepal to reach Pokhara. Then she took a bus from Pokhara to Khunwa border in Uttar Pradesh to enter India in May. From there she travelled to Lucknow, Agra and the reach Gautambuddha Nagar where her lover Sachin Meena had rented an apartment in Rabupura.

Well, this wasn’t the first time Seema and Sachin met. They had earlier met in Nepal in March where they stayed in a hotel with a fake name, and impersonated as a married couple.

Now let's dive into Seema Haider’s past life in Pakistan. Seema stayed in Sindh province with her four children. She got married in 2014. Her husband used to stay in Saudi Arabia from where he used to send 70 to 80 thousand Pakistani rupees for his wife, Seema Haider.

With the help from her savings and assistance from her husband, father-in-law and relatives, she had bought a house worth 12 lakh Pakistani rupees in Pakistan. However, she sold her house three months after the purchase to fund her whole journey to enter India.

On July 4, Seema and Sachin were arrested under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, IPC Section 120 B and Section 3,4,5 of the Passport Act. This whole illegal entry of Seema Haider would have remained hidden if a lawyer who was approached by the couple for legalising their marriage, wouldn’t have filed a complaint about Seema’s illegal entry into India.

Soon after the arrest Seema and Sachin were questioned for hours by UP’s Anti Terrorism Squad. Seema and Sachin were later released on bail on 7th of July.

Officials however told the media that Seema could not be dubbed as a Pakistani spy unless they have enough proof.

Now let's get to know what all the information the investigations brought out about Seema Haider. Uttar Pradesh police have recovered two video cassettes, five Pakistan-authorised passports with one incomplete details, four mobile phones and an identity card.
