Multiple passengers and flight crew fell ill while waiting on the tarmac in Las Vegas in high temperatures before their flight was ultimately cancelled on 17 July.

The Delta Airlines flight to Atlanta was cancelled after passengers had already boarded and waited hours to takeoff from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

A video shared by Instagram user @poochieznails appears to show at least one person being wheeled away from the gate on a stretcher as other passengers wait near the gate.
