The video from Manipur makes us feel like this country is filled with live dead bodies. The reality is that the PM, ahead of the monsoon session, spoke for 8 minutes and 25 seconds, out of which he only spoke about Manipur for 36 seconds.
He says he is pained and angry over the Manipur incident. He says this is an insult to 140 crore Indians, but later engages in petty politics over Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. PM, you should feel ashamed. You are a coward and a shameless PM. If, after watching the video, you only spend 36 seconds talking about the incident and claim to care about a civilized society, then it is unfortunate that you are India's PM.
The reality is that you and your Govt are equally responsible for this misdeed. If you had spoken up on Manipur in a timely manner, this situation would not have escalated in the state.
You say you are pained and angry. You are in the government; you have the power, police, and the ability to sack the CM. You should be ashamed of engaging in dirty politics even after the video is out. Every woman in the country today feels vulnerable and violated.
In the 77-day-old video, women were molested and gang-raped, and even after the FIR was filed, there have been no arrests, and you have only spoken about Manipur for 36 seconds.
Smriti Irani has woken up after 77 days, but PM, you seem unaware of what happened on 4th May. Such an impotent and helpless government it is. Internet is banned in Manipur. If the media had questioned the PM on Manipur, we would not have seen such a day.
More than your silence, your two words on Manipur were shameful. You are pained? You are angry? Neither your pain nor your anger is visible, as you were busy with international tours and giving flowery speeches.
Apologize to all the women in the country who today feel helpless. It's unfortunate that you are the PM of the country.
